How do you typically start a project?

We begin with a intro call to align on:

What happens if my project scope changes mid-way?

Priorities can shift, especially in fast-moving industries. For fixed projects, we can issue a revised scope of work (SOW) to account for any new additions or changes. For retainer clients, these adjustments can often be rolled into your ongoing engagement.

How many people work on my project?

Depends on your needs. A retainer subscription gives you access to 1-2 senior designers + PM. Bigger projects = more scaler-power.

Can we sign an NDA or confidentiality agreement?

Of course. We work with funded startups and enterprise clients regularly, so NDAs are standard. Just share your agreement or we can send you ours before kickoff.

Do I own everything you design?

100%. Once the invoice is paid, all the work we produce is legally yours.

What if I'm not satisfied with the designs?

I revise until you’re genuinely happy. Design is subjective, so it may take a few rounds to match your style—but our goal is work you love, not just a finished task.

Terms & Cancellation Policy

We are committed to delivering high-quality design and development services with clarity, flexibility, and transparency. The following terms outline our policies regarding cancellations, refunds, and service commitments. By engaging with ScalerDesign Studio, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Work Commitment and Delivery

Scaler Studio operates on a daily work model where each booked working day is reserved exclusively for the client. Time, effort, and resources are committed daily and cannot be reallocated once delivered.

Accordingly, completed working days are billable and non-refundable. Subscriptions or projects may be cancelled at any time in accordance with our cancellation policy.

cancellation & refunds policy

This policy applies to all services provided by ScalerDesign Studio, including but not limited to retainers, fixed-scope projects, sprints, MVP builds, and development engagements.

All payments are made in exchange for professional services, reserved capacity, and expertise. Payments do not guarantee specific business, product, or commercial outcomes.

  • No refunds are available for the first week of your plan, as this period includes setup, onboarding, and foundational work.
  • Clients may cancel an active retainer by providing at least 7 days’ written notice prior to the next billing cycle.
  • Retainer fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has started.
  • This includes unused time, unrequested tasks, or paused work.

Fair Use

This policy ensures fairness. Time, expertise, and work delivered are real services rendered, even if the final output is not used. Full refunds for completed work are therefore not provided.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes or concerns related to delivered work must be raised promptly in writing. Scaler Studio will engage in good faith discussions to seek resolution prior to escalation or formal proceedings.

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide clear requirements, content, and access before work begins.
  • Review work and give feedback within agreed timelines.
  • Assign a single decision-maker to avoid conflicting directions. Approved work is final.
  • Make payments on time as outlined in the agreement.

Scaler Studio Responsibilities

  • Deliver work according to the agreed scope and timeline.
  • Communicate progress clearly and regularly.
  • Apply senior-level judgment, quality standards, and QA.
  • Work is delivered based on the approved scope only.
  • Approved work is considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing.
